Become a Youth Umpire for Novato South Little League!

Are you 12 or older and looking for a rewarding job that combines your love of baseball with a chance to earn money? Novato South Little League (NSLL) offers a unique opportunity for young people to learn the art of umpiring while getting paid!

  • No Prior Experience Needed:  Our program provides training to help you gain the skills and confidence to officiate games.

Eligibility Requirements

  • You must be at least 12 years old to be eligible.
  • Youths aged 12 and up can earn pay for umpiring after attending our mandatory training sessions. NOTE: Parents, managers, coaches and board members are not eligible for pay.
  • Youth umpires may only officiate games involving players younger than themselves.

The Chief Umpire will be holding free training workshops for the Spring 2025 season at Hamman Field on the following dates:
