2020 PLAYER EVALUATIONS (Tryouts)

RAIN OR SHINE

Please read this information in its entirety.

The purpose of player evaluations is to assess every participant, with the goal of creating well balanced and competitive divisions.  The teams in the Majors, AAA, and AA divisions are selected via draft.  The teams in the A and T-Ball divisions are selected manually.  Every registered participant will be on a team (hence why these are called Player Evaluations rather than Tryouts).

This year Player Evaluations will be held at HAMANN FIELD in Novato.  Player Evaluations will take place on January 25th & 26th.  Each day is split up by last name 1/25: A-K and 1/26: L-Z.  Participants only need to attend 1 day.  Please reference the complete schedule below.

**********
Any participant who will not be 8 years old by August 31, 2020, does not need to attend Player Evaluations, unless they wish to play in AA.

Players signed up for 50/70 do not need to attend tryouts.

EQUIPMENT
Please have your child bring both cleats and tennis shoes in the event weather forces us inside. Each player is required to bring their own glove, cleats, and hat.  Helmets, bats, catchers equipment etc will be provided for those players who do not have their own.

NSLL SWAP MEET
*We need your old Equipment & Uniforms*
In the coming weeks, we will be holding the 1st Annual NSLL Equipment and Uniform Swap Meet.  We all have countless “like new” pants, gloves, cleats, bats, etc. that our children have outgrown.  Before we all head to Dick’s and Sports Basement to purchase the next pair of pants to be too small in 3 months, why not first exchange what we already have.  Please bring any old equipment/uniforms to tryouts you would like to donate to the Swap Meet, so we can start collecting.  More details to come regarding date, time, and location next week.

Please contact playeragent.nsll@gmail.com with any additional questions regarding player evaluations and the team selection process.
