We're ready if you are...
Starting February 8th, Novato South Little League is getting back on the field! Our 2021 NSLL season tryouts have been moved to the weekend of February 27th & 28th, making way for 3 weeks of NSLL “Spring Training”. REGISTER now for our 2021 Season and all players League Ages 8-13 (AA, AAA, Majors, & 50/70) will be placed on a "Farm Team" to take part in a 3 week developmental "Spring Training” beginning February 8th. Unsure of your child's "League Age”? Click Here. Have a player that won’t be 8 before September 1st, or prefer to wait until tryouts to get back on the field? No Problem! Sign-Up today and simply select the "opt out of Spring Training” option during registration, and join us on the field for tryouts February 27th-28th (players league age 8 and older), or shorty after for players ages 4-7. Single-A, T-Ball, and T-Ball Kidz do not hold a tryout and typically start in early March, so you won’t be missing out!
SPRING TRAINING DETAILS
"Farm Teams" will be lead by 2 certified NSLL coaches and limited to 12 players of similar age and talent. Each team will hold 2 practices per week, (1 weekday and 1 weekend) at Hamann and Dunphy fields, helping players prepare for both tryouts and this LONG awaited season. These teams and coaches are for Spring Training ONLY and may not be the same teams/coaches during the regular season.
NSLL COVID-19 SAFETY AND PROTOCOLS
The health and safety of the entire NSLL community has always been paramount in everything we do, and that has never been more important than it is today. We will continue to work together with the Marin County Health Department and our local health officials and ensure that ALL Covid-19 protocols will be strictly enforced at ALL NSLL activities and events. A general list of those protocols are below. More details and instructions to come before the start of the season.
NSLL General Protocols
-A COVID-19 screening questionnaire will be required by all players and coaches before arriving on site
-Temperature checks will be conducted for all players and coaches when arriving on site
-Players and Coaches are required to wear masks at all times
-Social distancing will be enforced
-Dugouts will remain closed
-The sharing of equipment between teammates is prohibited

Space in our Spring Training program is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis, so SIGNUP NOW! The deadline to register to take part in Spring Training is February February 5th. NSLL regular season signups WILL remain open until tryouts commence on Saturday 2/27.

Register for Spring Little League with confidence that if we are not able to hold games or practices, YOUR REGISTRATION WILL BE 100% REFUNDED. In addition, all players registered for the 2020 NSLL Spring League have been issued a $75 credit to their TeamSnap account which can be applied during registration checkout.
NSLL Participant Fees:
4 years old (T-Ball Kidz) - $175
5-8 years old - $275
9-12 years old - $350
13 years old (50/70) - $275
PLAYER EVALUATIONS (Tryouts):
Player Evaluations (Tryouts) are scheduled fro Saturday & Sunday 1/30-1/31 at Hamann Field at Olive Elementary School. Click here for more details PLAYER EVALUATIONS
Players will be placed in the division that best suites his/her ability. The goal is to create competitive divisions made up of well balanced teams. We ask that all players league ages 7 and up attend player evaluations (1/30-1/31). A general Division by Age guide is below. This is simply a guide and it is important to note that a player's divisions is not selected or assigned during registration. Common Divisions by age:
T-Ball Kidz: 4 years old
Tee Ball: 5-6 years old
A Minors (Coach Pitch): 7-8 years old
AA Minors: 7-10 years old
AAA Minors: 8-11 years old
Majors: 11-12 years old
50/70 - 13 years old
