Spring 2026 Baseball – Novato South Little League
Welcome to Novato South Little League, where kids learn, play, and grow! We’re excited to invite players ages 4–13 to join us for another great season of baseball. Our goal is to create balanced teams that give every player a fun, competitive, and development-focused experience.
League Age & Divisions
Each player’s League Age (which may differ from their actual age) determines division eligibility. Please confirm your child’s League Age using the 2026 Baseball Age Chart before registering.
Divisions & Fees
Players who register by December 15 will automatically receive a $30 discount at checkout.
Beginning December 16, all division fees increase by $30.
Divisions for the 2026 Season
- Little Sluggers (4 yrs) – $215
- Tee Ball (5–6 yrs) – $295
- A Minors (Coach/Machine Pitch, 6–8 yrs) – $295
- AA Minors (Machine/Player Pitch, 8–10 yrs) – $415
- (7-year-olds eligible with Player Agent approval – email playeragent.nsll@gmail.com before evaluations)
- AAA Minors (Player Pitch, 9–11 yrs) – $415
- (8-year-olds eligible with Player Agent approval –email playeragent.nsll@gmail.com before evaluations)
- Majors (10–12 yrs) – $415
- Intermediate 50/70 (13 yrs) – $295
Player Evaluations
Evaluations are scheduled for January 24 & 25, 2026.
They are required for players ages 8–12, and for 7-year-olds requesting to play in AA.
Draft Process
Following evaluations, players are drafted into divisions based on age and skill level:
AA Division
- 9 & 10-year-olds must be drafted.
- 8-year-olds who attend evaluations automatically make AA.
- 7-year-olds not drafted and 8-year-olds who do not attend evaluations will be placed in Single A.
AAA Division
- 11-year-olds must be drafted.
- 9 & 10-year-olds not drafted will be placed in AA.
Waive-Down Policy: Players eligible for AAA who wish to remain in AA must submit a waive-down request before evaluations and before the draft (Board approval required).
Majors Division
- 12-year-olds must be drafted.
- 10 & 11-year-olds not drafted will be placed in AA or AAA.
Waive-Down Policy: Players eligible for Majors who wish to remain in AAA must submit a waive-down request before evaluations and before the draft (Board approval required).
Season Dates
- Upper Divisions (AA, AAA, Majors, 50/70): Practices begin February 2, 2026
- Lower Divisions (Little Sluggers, Tee Ball, A Minors): Practices begin February 23, 2026
- Opening Night: March 6, 2026
- Opening Day: March 7, 2026
